Interactive bubble fun. We put everyone inside beautiful giant bubbles and bring bubbles down over wheelchair users. Early years teacher Bonnie gently uses bubbles to encourage children and young people to focus, take turns, make eye contact and request more. Bubbles are sensory and ideal for those who are deaf or who may have limited language or be non-verbal.
The bubbling is informal and interactive and is enhanced with music. The children can all join in playing with lemon-scented bouncy bubbles, making their own big rainbow bubbles and trying to blow bubbles inside bubbles. We give everyone time to go inside a bubble if they want to and we also use dry ice to make “smoke” bubbles for the children to feel and catch.
