Circles for Learning is a research based whole class or small group project for KS1, KS2 and KS3 that has been designed to support young people’s MHWB through developing emotional literacy, understanding of relationships, resilience, empathy, skills for learning and neuroscience.
Circles for Learning uses a parent and baby visiting the classroom once a month for a year. The purpose is to engage young people in observing the interaction between the parent and baby. These observations are then used by the Class Teacher in follow up work using a range of resources that are part of the Circles for Learning Project.
Circles for Learning has been developed over the past 5 years by Alison Waterhouse Independent Consultant for SEN and Wellbeing.
