This session will look at research and data related to SEND and SENCOs and consider the implications for classroom practice. In particular, the findings of the National SENCO Workload Survey will be discussed, as well as DfE-census data over time and the SEND Index from Whole School SEND. Consideration will also be given to how schools can assess their level of inclusivity.
