Why language and communication is important to social, emotional behaviour and how schools can address challenges

14:00 - 15:00

This session will explore the relationships between speech language and communication and social, emotional and behavioural development in the early years and KS1. We will consider why language and behaviour may be related and recent evidence addressing the factors that impact on this relationship. We will then provide information on evidence informed knowledge exchange programmes developed by the Centre for Inclusive Education (UCL/IOE) to address these challenges.
