This seminar will provide delegates with an alternative perspective in understanding disruptive behaviours in the classroom. An insight into how sensory integration difficulties relating to postural and praxis (ideation, motor planning and execution) challenges can negatively impact on behaviour will be presented. Simple but effective strategies and techniques will be discussed to help address disruptive behaviours and facilitate inclusion. Identifying when a child may require further, specialist assessment will also be discussed.
