Evidence-based assessment and intervention to support dyscalculia

Hear from Dynamo Maths, Tes SEN North exhibitors, on the important issue of developmental dyscalculia.

In partnership with TES SEN North, we are spotlighting awareness on developmental dyscalculia. The early detection of mathematical difficulties can significantly impact a child’s academic success. Early intervention is highly effective and can support children in closing the achievement gap and the chance to reach their maximum academic potential.

Dyscalculia in children can cause increasing frustration not only for the children themselves but also for families.  If a child has persistent and significant difficulties in processing numbers and does not receive early intervention the achievement gap widens and cascades into secondary school and later into adulthood impacting day-day living where severe symptoms and chronic patterns become established.

If you are supporting children who are not making age-related progress with maths or working with children with persistent and significant difficulties, then do come and see how the demonstration on how the evidence-based Dynamo Maths standardised assessment and intervention can support you in the classroom.

Dynamo Maths will be available on stand at Tes SEN North (10-11 May, Manchester Central) on stand A24. Register free to join them at the show.
