Self-harm in children and young people

This session will cover facts about self-harm with a focus on self-harm in children and young people. Drawing on a wealth of epidemiological and psychological research, the session aims to describe the scope of the problem, who might be most at risk, the role of social media,  as well as challenging misconceptions about self-harm. The session will also cover what might be useful to help prevent self-harm.
