Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASDs): realising student potential within educational settings

FASD is the leading cause of preventable learning disability in the UK. Many students with FASD are under the radar due to a lack of recognition of the condition and a lack of diagnosis. This session will consider the nature of prenatal alcohol exposure, the implications of that exposure for educators and explore practical strategies for realising the unique potential within students with FASD.
