This session will cover the 5 areas of engagement (exploration, realisation, anticipation, persistence and initiation) and how monitoring them can be used to underpin and inform personalised planning for pupils not yet accessing the curriculum. The session will consider the use of the Engagement model to support pupils not yet accessing subject specific learning as well as those not yet accessing the National Curriculum but who are engaged in subject specific learning.
