How remote education has worked for children and young people with SEND

08 October 2021 12:30 - 13:30

The first part of this session will focus on the impact of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic on children and young people with SEND and their families. I will summarise and explain what we learned about the experience of children and young people with SEND through our programme of interim visits during the autumn and spring terms of 2020-21. The second part of this session will focus on how remote education has worked for children and young people with SEND. It will include how remote education has been provided, what has worked well for children and young people with SEND and what has not worked well.
